Durst to showcase expanded P5 ecosystem at PRINTING United

The company will mark its 90th anniversary with printing, software, automation and finishing technologies across multiple booths.

Durst will showcase its expanded portfolio of digital printing, software and connected production technologies at PRINTING United Expo 2026, with the company marking its 90th anniversary at the event.

At Booth C1614, Durst will center its display on the P5 platform, including the North American debut of the P5 350 CORE alongside the P5 350 HSR and P5 350 HS D4.

The P5 350 CORE is a hybrid platform designed for both board and roll production. The system combines Durst’s P5 printing technology with an upgradeable architecture and automation-ready capabilities.

For higher-volume roll-to-roll production, the P5 350 HSR incorporates an integrated Mesh-System and XY cutting system, with optional vertical and horizontal cutting units. The P5 350 HS D4, meanwhile, is designed for high-volume hybrid production across a range of substrates and offers speeds up to 930 sqm/h.

“This is a significant year in Durst’s history, and our PRINTING United lineup is a true example of 90 years of technology, ideas and innovation,” says Steve Lynn, executive director, Durst North America. “What makes this year’s lineup particularly exciting is that the Durst ecosystem goes far beyond the printers, bringing together integrated hardware, software and solutions that visitors can experience across multiple booths throughout the show.”

That broader ecosystem will be represented by three additional Durst Group operations at PRINTING United. Vanguard Digital Printing will showcase flatbed, roll-to-roll and hybrid printing systems in Booth C1514, while Hasler Solutions will feature automated cutting and finishing technologies in Booth C3204.

Open Software Initiative (OSI), exhibiting in Booth C934, will highlight its open, modular software architecture for connecting production equipment and third-party software. Using standardized APIs and open interfaces, the platform is designed to support automation and more data-driven production workflows across mixed production environments.

Durst’s PRINTING United appearance follows its presence at LOUPE Americas in Chicago the previous week, where the company is highlighting its dedicated label and flexible packaging technologies. The company’s label portfolio includes the new Tau G3 platform, introduced with the Tau G3 Core and Tau G3 Peak models, as well as the Tau 340 RSC E, Tau RSCi and the KJET and XJET hybrid platforms.

The two events also highlight the breadth of Durst’s production ecosystem, with software and analytics technologies extending across its label and wider digital printing portfolio. Durst Analytics, for example, supports the Tau series as well as KJET and XJET systems, providing some connective tissue between the technologies being presented across the two shows.
